Séance Switchboard

“You are not playing a game about a haunted machine — you are operating the haunted machine itself.”

An interactive haunted communications device, built to feel like operating a physical machine rather than playing a conventional game.

The experience

Plug in, tune through the static, and watch the lamps, VU meter and oscilloscope react. Contact is established — then the machine starts behaving on its own, escalating into a full spectral breach.

Creative goal

Build horror through interaction: tactile machine behavior, sound, timing and a progressive loss of control.

Skills demonstrated

  • Interactive animation
  • Motion design
  • State-machine logic
  • Interaction design
  • Visual effects
  • Sound-integrated interaction design

Haunted Marionette

“You taught it how to move.”

An interactive horror piece built around a marionette that gradually learns from the player.

The experience

You control the puppet directly and teach it how to move. Over time it anticipates you, repeats what it learned, resists your input and finally acts alone — standing on its own to perform the same bow you taught it at the start.

Creative goal

Explore control, learning and autonomy through one character on one stage — expressive movement, timing and escalating unease instead of a large game system. The strings begin as control; by the end, they no longer matter.

Skills demonstrated

  • Character animation
  • Interactive animation
